SECOND MAN
The “Second Man” device was initially designed to assist a single construction worker in cleaning up various pieces of construction debris commonly found throughout construction sites, both residential and commercial. In doing so, it freed up another worker to do other tasks as the tasks of construction cleanup used to be a 2-man job. The Second Man’s function is extremely simple in that a user obtains a heavy duty, extra-large capacity plastic bag and inserts the Second Man into the top of the bag in its collapsed configuration. Once in place, the user pulls on the thinner end until the bag’s perimeter is tight around the frame of the Second Man. At this point, the frame is auto-locked in place due to the ratcheting mechanism.
Once the prototype of the device was built and thoroughly tested, it became very clear to the client that the device clearly has far reaching implications in other vertical markets as stadium cleaning, home owner and commercial landscape maintenance, hazardous waste cleanup, fire department applications, city parks and recreation areas and the like.
